Joe is a Director on the Arevon Investment team, where he leads sourcing, underwriting, and execution of renewable energy and energy transition investments.  In this role, he has evaluated and completed acquisitions, divestitures, and development portfolio investments in over 8 GW of projects, notably including 2 GW of standalone storage in California, the U.S.'s first solar peaker plant, and solar assets across WECC, ERCOT, MISO, SERC, PJM, and ISO-NE.  Prior to Arevon, he worked at NextEra Energy for four years where he was responsible for M&A, evaluating and investing in distributed generation and community solar, storage, microgrids, fuel cells, hydrogen, and mobility opportunities.  Prior to NextEra, Joe worked at GE Ventures where he was focused on investment opportunities in energy storage, mobility, and grid optimization.  Joe previously worked as an attorney in the private equity and mergers & acquisitions practice group of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he assisted clients on over $80 billion of transactions.  Joe graduated from Harvard Business School with an M.B.A. in 2017, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, cum laude, with a J.D. in 2013, and from Dartmouth College, cum laude, with an A.B. in Economics and Government in 2010.
