Pedro Pires Joao serves as the Executive Vice President of Finance at EDP Renewables North America (EDPR

NA). In his role, Pedro leads the finance functions for the company’s business in the United States, Canada, and

Mexico, representing $10 billion in assets, $900 million in EBITDA, and a capital plan of more than $1.5 billion.

Pedro joined EDP in 2000. During the more than two decades he has worked in the EDP Group, he has

managed the corporate functions of Investor Relations and M&A and also served as a board member of EDP

Commercial and EDP Produção in Portugal.

Pedro has a Bachelor’s degree in Management and completed an MBA at London Business School.
